Normal delivery process divide into 4 stages:

1. 1^st stage start from inpartu until complete cervix unveil
2. 2^nd stage start from complete cervix unveil until the baby was born
3. 3^rd stage start from the born of the baby until placenta was born
4. 4^th stage start is a period 2 hours after placenta was born.

Sign of inpartu

1. There are twice His in 10 minutes continuously and regularly
2. there is bloody show from vagina

1^st stage divide into:

1. Latent phase: slow cervix unveil until 3cm in ± 7-8 hours
2. Active phase : ± 6 hours
   1. Acceleration : ± 2 jam, cervix unveil 4 cm
   2. Maximum slope : ± 2 hours, quick unveil until 9 cm.
   3. Deceleration : ± 2 jam, complete unveil (10 cm)



May be it was the first time I and my friends saw the delivery process with many problems for the mother and her baby.

Saw how a mother restrained the hurt of the HIS (I’d just known if HIS was very hurt and uncomfortable)

Saw Episiotomy that cut the perineum muscle,

Manual placenta, saw how the doctor’s hand entering the vagina to remove the retained placenta..



So much blood in the delivery process..

If you saw all them, you will know how great a mother struggle between life and death.

Struggle to born her lovely child..

And you will really understand what this proverb means: “Surga ada di telapak kaki ibu”

So love your MOM with all your hearts..God bless..

2 Weeks in Obsgyn

Hahh…tiring 2 weeks.

Since 8th September I and my friends have been on duty as “Co-Muda” in Obstetric and Gynecologic Department.

There we will divide into 4 groups that will be rotate every 3 days.

We’d just been instructed that we should follow every activity in every barn and be reprimanded that we had to ask permission to every officer.

After had had pretest on first day, we entered the Gynecology Ward.

Almost patients in this Ward were hospitalized because of cervix cancer.

There’s very seldom an examination there, so we had nothing to do there.

Only one my lucky friend could see the cervix biopsy.

Then we entered the Obstetric Ward.

Here, we really do nothing at all. Hehe..

Just walked around, chat, wait. Really like what Co Muda means:”Congko-congko, muondar-muandir, Dalan-dalan” hahaha……

Even, when we asked permission to the officer, she said “Waduh, obstetri tu kan dibagi 3, VK, bangsal nifas, sama ruang intensif, jadi bangsal Obstetri tu sbenere ga ada” hehehe..

Third, We entered the Antenatal Care or Obstetric clinic

Here, we could see the doctor did the examination to the pregnant women such as listened the fetal heart beat, fumbled the fetal with Leopold maneuver.

But, Antenatal care start open at 8.30 them at 9.30 we had to go upstairs for case presentation. So we really had a short time there,

Honestly I also did nothing there except the blood pressure measurement. Hehe..

The last, we entered the VK or Delivery Room.

Dunno what was “VK” means, my friend said it was Dutch language “Versalin Kamar”

Don’t know it’s true or not. hehe..

Here, we had the heaviest duty, because we had to stay there scheduled.

We could see the process of normal delivery, delivery with vacuum, episiotomy, curet, and many more.

It’s really tiring here, but many experiences we might take from this room, though we could only see the process (maybe u could do it if you are lucky..hehe..).

Hope this story is useful for the next groups that will enter the Obstetric and Gynecologic department..hehe..

Story of The Murder

Continue my last post…

3 days after dr.Arya’s death was published.. Police caught the

murderer in bekasi..

they were Achmad Iskandar(47) and Srigogo Anggoro(41).

It was surprising how they work so fast like this.

Maybe they read my last post then become more enthusiastic…hehe..

the key point how Police could caught the murderer was after they knew that before dr.Arya went to Alam Indah’Hotel he had gone to Telomoyo’hotel.

then Police found important sign in Telomoyo, that was a tangled paper wrote Achmad Iskandar and his address in Bekasi.

Therefore, Police were able to catch them..

The summary of the murder is Dr.Arya had an ambition to become head of district in Semarang (“walikota”).

Then he asked Iskandar and Anggoro, the paranormal, to call a genie for helping him and carrying out this plan..

After all those two people were not able to call the genie..

But they had tempted with the money that dr.Arya brought, it’s about 60 millions rupiah

Therefore, they killed dr.Arya and his driver, took the money then escaped to Bekasi.

It’s weird dr.Arya as a doctor believed with mystical things such as a genie would help him??

I also believed that genie is exist in this world, but we had faith in God, right??

Just closer with God and much pray so you will be blessed in all your way..

I hope this murder will give us lesson in our life..

Okay..we talk about me now,,

In 5th September, I took a vow for entering the hospital environment..

It means that I had graduated from Bachelor Study..

Informally, I’ve already has “S.Ked” title behind my name.. hohoho…

But..I have to wait until November to make it official..

Next Monday.. A new task has waiting..

New life in hospital..

first day on september 2008

Monday, 1st day in September 2008, finally the “yudisium” result was published.

It should be published on Saturday, but because of someone that very annoying,

we should waiting until Monday.

Thanks to God for the A mark in KTI and PBL, though most of us got A in both lessons. Hehe..

When I woke up at that Monday, I read the newspaper..

I really shocked after read the news if dr.Arya Hasanuddin was died with his driver at Alam Indah hotel.

Dr.Arya was not really famous in Diponegoro University, but his wife, dr.Lilien, was one of our lecturer. Therefore, this news made us surprised and shocked.

Until now I write this, there’s still no clearness about how he died.

The last news I read about the autopsy result that he died because of suffocated. And there’s no maltreatment sign on his corpse.

Two people were suspected about his death.

I thought what was dr.Arya doing in Alam Indah hotel?

Mind that he has house in semarang, so why he should check in the hotel?

It was suspected that it related with magical activity, because of his interest with the magical activity.

Ahh..so sad for dr.Arya.. he had not long become a psychiatrist.

Moreover there’s still controversy about his status become psychiatry’s staff at Undip.

And what pitiful dr.Lilien mind his father’s death hadn’t full one year last yet…

I’ve just hope that this case will be revealed soon..
