First Global Handwashing Day

Ahh… It has been very late when I know about this..

Do you know that 15 October 2008 was determined to be the first Global Handwashing Day

And this is the logo

Do you thing this is mean?

absolutely YES, the background why WHO determined Global Handwashing Day because so many cases of diarrheaespecially in children because they didn’t was their hand or they washed without soap.

So this day will remind us that we should wash our hand with soap every time we want to eat and after in the toilet.

For me who contact with patients in hospital who have many diseases, wash my hand also very important so I will not infected disease.

So always WASH YOUR HAND !!!

This I had the newest immunization schedule for 2008. the different from schedule in 2006 just the add of HPV immunization, but, I think it is still quite expensive. Hehe..

FUN in KB

Huaa…a week at KB is quite FUN..

It’s really different with Obsgyn and Pediatric.

In Obsgyn we had to stay at delivery room a whole night, that’s hardly made us tired and sleepy.

If in Pediatric we busy searched a case every couple day, night tutorial almost every day, discussion with supervisor on the weekend, It’s lucky if that all fit with the schedule, because it often become prolonged exam. Hehe,,

in KB (keluarga berencana) we had fixed schedule, even it often no lectures.

The examination also very relaxed, just how do we put in the intra uterine device or Implant.

Hah… I will be really missed that stage.

Btw,.talking about stage.. the schedule for my first stage for “Co As” has been released.

My first stage will be in NEUROLOGY.

Wew.not bad…

Document Falsification in FK Undip

Five consecutive days issued in the newspaper??

GOSHH…

Since Friday, 10 October 2008 when first published about five people who studied in faculty of medicine Diponegoro University (Undip) and “transferred” from other university were involve in document falsification.

Their initials are AR, EI, HM, AM , and JM from Malaysia.

With that fake document made by Ir, MAY MSi, they could entered faculty of medicine easily and join the lecture in 4^th semester, moreover, in the fake document, there was transcript about their good mark in previous university.

Until today I read the newspaper there’s still news about this.

I’d just thought, is this news were a big news such as other crime??

5 DAYS.. Huhh..

I’m wondering if there’s still that news for tomorrow..

Even my friend said, when he met people who asked where he is study now, and my friend answered in faculty of medicine Undip, and so that people said “ohh..tempatnya dokter-dokter gadungan itu ya??”

WHATT???

I’ve known that this case will bring such as “bad image” from people.

Just like Indonesian proverb said “Nila setitik rusak susu sebelanga” means that if there’s one bad, all goodness you have made will be meaningless.

Moreover there were some case as I could remember related to faculty of medicine Undip,

1. Start from student who stole book in gramedia

2. Then big news about Al Qiyadah Al Islamiyah in Indonesia in 2007, obviously the leader in Semarang were 2 student from faculty of medicine.

3. Lately, the murdered of dr.Arya Hasanuddin though he is not directly related to Undip, but her wife is a lecture and he had some controversy related to Undip.

I who is still studying there of course get the effect from that image..

So..what can we do??

We just can PROVE, PROVE.. and PROVE to the society that we are good and qualified doctors..

So for us who are still studying in Undip We must study hard.

And I hope there’s no more bad news related to Faculty of Medicine Diponegoro University.

It’s ENOUGH..!!!!

Poor Tottenham Hotspur

Really DON’T UNDERSTAND…

How come after 7 matches Tottenham Hotspur has just got 1 point with 6 defeat ??

UNBELIEVABLE …

Let’s we see their squad players team

At Striker, yeah, Tottenham had sold Berbatov and Keane, but they have Roman Pavlyuchenko, who had fantastic performance with Arshavin in Russian team at last Euro 2008.They also have Darren Bent and Giovani dos Santos, whom people know not a bad striker.

At midfielder, Tottenham have Luka Modric and David Bentley, they young rising stars from Croatian and Mexico. They also still have Aaron Lennon and Jermain Jenas as well.

At defender, Ledley King, Jonathan Woodgate and Didier Zokora, who aren’t strange name for you

At goalkeeper, after sold Paul Robinson, they had bought Heurelho Gomes from PSV, who has the record for highest percentage of clean sheets in the Eredivisie, with him keeping a clean sheet in 60% of his league games for PSV

Their Coach, Juande Ramos, you must have known him who brought Sevilla win Uefa Cup twice in a row in 2006 and 2007.

With squad like this, Tottenham had been predicted they can compet with the “BIG FOUR” teams in English Premier League. I did very expected this.

But now, how could they so easily beaten, They had just got 1 point from match with Chelsea last 31 August 2008

May be this is the effect of BIG REVOLUTION in Tottenham squad with many new player.

I’ve just hope they could solve their problem and show their real quality to make English Premier League more attractive and competitive.

Idul Fitri in Semarang

Start from 28^th September 2008 I have a week IDUL FITRI holiday.

Though I’m not commemorate Idul Fitri, but I and my family used to go back to Ngawen to my grandma’s house.

This year, I and my family don’t go to Ngawen, because my Dad had a Chelation therapy make him should be injected drug by infuse every day.

Chelation is a therapy use EDTA (Ethylene Diamine Tetraacetic Acid) and other nutrients that dissolved in 500 cc NaCl, and dripped by infuse that should be spent in 1-2 hours.

Why my Dad got that therapy?

Because, my Dad was suspected had a non hemorrhage Stroke symptoms, which he had defective in pronouncing words, and after had CT-Scan, there are some small infark on his brain. So before it become worse, my Dad has that therapy to minimize the worse defect.

I admitted that this therapy was quite expensive. Couse every infuse injected cost approximately 200.000 rupiahs. But, because my Mom had known the doctor very well, she got a discount so my mom just only paid half of it.

In Semarang, there’s no noisy procession for Takbiran Night, different from Takbiran Night in Ngawen,it is always very noisy, full of people on the way bringing torch, drum, they walk and sing all night long.

But in Semarang was very quiet, even I read on newspaper, we are forbidden to make noisy on Takbiran night in Semarang, so in that night just heard some firecrackers or fireworks.

And do you know that it is VERY DIFFICULT to find some FOODS in Idul Fitri..

Almost all shops and markets were closed on that day..

Thought the foods had a holiday too. hehe..

There’s also no newspaper.. ( I was surprised that JawaPos that always published on holiday was also not issued..

So..My day are also full of playing game and watching TV..
