First week in Neurology

Here I wanna share my first week in Neurology.

In neurology, we have to make 5 cases in Neurology ward, 2 cases in Rehabilitation unit, 1 case in polyclinic and discuss them with our resident.

So far, I have made 2 cases, but my resident, dr.Welly, was busy, so he still didn’t have time to discuss with me.

Last Wednesday was my first duty to stay at neurology ward. There were 4 new patients. So we were busy writing the medical record. Moreover, two of them came with bad condition, so we were assigned to monitor both of them every half hour.

Then at 10.30 pm, one of them had no breath (apneu), so it is the time to resuscitate the patient. It was my first real resuscitation, after all the theory I had in Panum.

I did the chest compression. The theory said “do the chest compression hard and fast”, but after several compression, the nurse said “jangan keras-keras ya, kasihan udah tua”

Then the resident also said “ga usah cepet-cepet, pelan-pelan aja”

Wew..it’s contradicting with the theory, however, the patient was dead.

I also didn’t know if my first compression that sounds like low “krek” involved in her death.

However, I made the conclusion, if the patient had many bad condition, the resuscitation just will be some formality procedure with almost always fail. Hehe..

About foods in Kariadi, I’d just say that the composition is proportional, there were vegetables, meet, fruit. So don’t worry you’ll hungry went you have duty to stay.

Tottenham Hotspur is BACK

Tottenham Hotspur is BACK..

Yes..no longer after I write about “Poor Tottenham Hotspur” I was surprise that suddenly they sacked Juande Ramos and replaced him with ex-Portsmouth coach Harry Redknapp.

But, now it was proven that their choice was right..

Tottenham was back to their good perform with some fantastic result..

First game with Harry Redknapp, they win 2-0 against Bolton, brought their first win in 9 matches at English Premier League.

Then they equal 4-4 with Arsenal and in the following match they beat Liverpool 2-1, which gave Liverpool first defeat of the season.

Moreover, in both matches, Tottenham were fightback after they left and scored the crucial goal in lasts minutes. What amazing..

Redknapp’s magic continued, They beat Dinamo Zagreb 4-0 in UEFA Cup, their biggest win so far, then they won against Manchester City, which brought their first away match won.

Last 12^th November, they met Liverpool again on Carling Cup, and how awesome Tottenham defeat Liverpool again 4-2, absolutely GREAT Performance !!!

I’ve just could say.. That was Tottenham’s performance should be !!!

So..Keep your fantastic performance !!

graduation for S.Ked

Yeah..6^th November 2008 was a GRADUATION CEREMONY day.

At the same time, Diponegoro University graduate 600s people include me.

Praise God, I could my Bachelor study with “IP” 3,70 so I could sit at the front row. Hehe..

Honestly, I didn’t feel happy too much on that day, may be for other faculty, that means they have finished their study, on the contrary for me in faculty of medicine, it means that it was the beginning of my more Suffering Study as Co-As.

Short description about co-as life, for approximately 20 months we won’t have holiday time, except in Idul Fitri, for added if you don’t have duty to stay at hospital so you may have that holiday.

Very horrible life..

But, we have great friends in my groups, we support each other so we will not boring.. hehe..

However, congratulation for all my friends, we officially can add S.Ked behind our name..hehe..

And I hope we can through the next phase successfully..

Trouble of my internet connection

Since last 27 October I got some trouble with my home internet connection.

I used SPEEDY for it.

Problems came when I was browsing internet then there was a big thunderclap until my computer was suddenly turn off.

I was afraid that my computer will be damaged, luckily, there’s no problem with my computer.

But I got problem with my modem, the “LAN” indicator couldn’t turn on and after I checked it, the problem was in the modem.

That made me ought to buy a new Siemens modem, I spent 450 thousands rupiahs for it.. hikz..

First problem was solved, I could connect internet again.

But in the next day I couldn’t connect to internet, I thought there’s some trouble at the Speedy Network, but after 3 days I still could not connect and I ask other friends that they didn’t have problem with their connection, so I called the person whom I bought modem with, and she helped me solve the problem.

The problem is in my ID password, after she gave me the new password, I could connect to internet again since today.
